The Lois Bulley Scholarship Fund (LBSF) was established in 1975 with a donation from Hon. Agnes Lois Bulley, a British political activist and philanthropist who spent much of her life fighting against social injustice and inequality, especially for women. Over the years, the Fund has given financial support to thousands of needy girls in Kenya.
LBSF supports bright but needy Kenyan girls who have completed secondary education but face financial difficulties in attaining university education. The scholarships cover tuition and other statutory payments for the four years at any of the public universities in Kenya.
LBSF is registered as a nonprofit Trust in Kenya. It is governed by a Board of Trustees, currently Chaired by the Right Rev. Dr. George Wanjau, former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA).
